1. Introduction and Overview

Welcome to Rezyt ("Rezyt," "we," "us," or "our"). We have created this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information—particularly personal data—relating to users who browse and interact with our platform. This policy also explains your legal rights regarding our handling of your information and how you can exercise those rights.

Rezyt is an exclusive platform dedicated to showcasing consumer products and services from various Product Owners, Service Owners, Businesses, Retailers, and Franchisees (collectively referred to as "Brands"). Our mission is to help Consumers discover new and notable product offerings from 50+ categories, with the choice to visit external third-party platforms if they wish to purchase or learn more. Rezyt does not directly process any purchases made by Consumers; instead, all purchase transactions occur on external sites or platforms managed by the Brands. We provide links or redirections to these third-party sites for convenience and reference.

Throughout this Privacy Policy, references to "Consumer(s)" or "User(s)" mean individuals who use the Rezyt platform to discover or explore these product and service offerings. References to "Brand(s)" refer to any Product Owner, Service Owner, Business, Retailer, or Franchisee who registers on Rezyt to showcase products and services.

Our operations and data practices reflect our commitment to handling your personal information with integrity, fairness, and in accordance with applicable laws. This Privacy Policy contains the following sections:

  1. Definitions

2.1 “Platform” or “Service” Refers to the Rezyt application, which is accessible on iOS and Android mobile devices (and potentially any associated website or web application, if applicable), designed to connect Consumers with Brands and provide a browsing and discovery experience for new product and service offerings.

2.2 “Consumer” or “User” An individual who downloads, registers, or uses the Rezyt platform to discover or explore product and service offerings posted by Brands. Consumers do not purchase items directly on Rezyt.

2.3 “Brand” Any Product Owner, Service Owner, Business, Retailer, or Franchisee that registers to upload and showcase product or service offerings on Rezyt. Brands may include a variety of entities, including but not limited to, small businesses, individual entrepreneurs, and large corporations.

2.4 “Personal Data” Information that identifies you or can be used to identify you, either alone or when combined with other information. Personal Data includes, but is not limited to, your name, age, mobile phone number, location, and gender, if this data can be linked to you.

2.5 “Offerings” or “Listings” Any product or service highlighted on Rezyt by a Brand. Offerings may include product details, descriptions, images, videos, banners, or external links redirecting to external e-commerce sites or brand sites for purchase or further information.

  1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all interactions and data processing activities that occur on the Rezyt platform. It addresses:

• The type of personal data we collect from both Consumers and Brands.

• How we collect, use, store, and secure that data.

• Under what circumstances we share personal data with third parties.

• The rights and responsibilities of both Consumers and Brands regarding their personal data.

• The platform’s policies on data retention, redirection to external sites, compliance with local regulations, and other matters relevant to the privacy of our users.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not extend to external websites, services, or platforms that we may link to. Once Consumers decide to purchase or learn more about a product or service on an external site, the privacy practices of that external site govern the collection and use of data from that point onward.

  1. Information We Collect

4.1 Information from Consumers

  1. Personal Identifiers: Name, Age, Gender, and Mobile Number.
  2. Location: General location data (city, state) shared explicitly during registration or implicitly via device permissions if the Consumer consents.
  3. Registration Details: User-created credentials such as login IDs or usernames if required in the future.
  4. Application Usage Information: Which offerings or listings the Consumer browses, clicks, or shows interest in.
  5. Device Information: Technical specifications regarding device model, operating system version, application version, and other device-level identifiers (collected in an anonymized or aggregated form unless explicitly consented).

Importantly, Rezyt does not collect or process any consumer payment data directly, as purchases occur on external platforms. Users will be notify when they will be being redirect to external Sites.

4.2 Information from Brands

  1. Brand Identity and Verification: Official email ID, business registration details, or any valid corporate documents required to demonstrate legitimacy (e.g., a certificate of incorporation, trademark registration, or relevant state business license).
  2. GSTIN: A valid Goods and Services Tax Identification Number for invoicing and tax compliance if the Brand operates within jurisdictions requiring this.
  3. KYC Data: In certain cases, Brands may be asked to provide additional documents confirming their business identity to ensure trust and authenticity on our platform.
  4. Contact Details: Primary contact person’s name, email address, phone number.
  5. Offering-Related Data: Information about each new product or service added to the Rezyt platform, including images, text descriptions, launch dates, and promotional banners.
  6. Transaction and Payment Information: Details regarding any platform fees or listing fees paid to Rezyt for ad placements, promotional opportunities, or to prioritize listing placements.

4.3 Automatic Data Collection Rezyt may use cookies or similar technologies within the app environment to gather analytics on how Consumers navigate the interface. Typical data points include time spent on listings, frequency of visits, or search queries. Although these technologies are more common on web-based platforms, in-app analytics can similarly capture usage data, error logs, and performance metrics.

4.4 Non-Personal Information We also collect aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to uniquely identify an individual. This type of data helps us improve our user experience (e.g., top categories explored, total number of active Brands, average session duration) without compromising any personal privacy.

  1. How We Collect Information

5.1 Direct Collection We collect data directly from you when you:

  1. Register for an account (as a Consumer or a Brand).
  2. Upload or edit content (Brands uploading listings, images, or product details).
  3. Communicate with Rezyt (through customer support channels, user feedback forms, or email queries).

5.2 Automatic Collection We automatically collect certain information using in-app analytics tools that help us understand user interactions with the app interface. These tools operate in the background, tracking usage metrics like pages visited, time spent, and the manner in which you navigate from one section to another within the app.

5.3 Third-Party Sources At times, Rezyt may obtain publicly available business details (e.g., verifying a Brand’s registration documents through government or external databases) as part of the Brand verification process. We do not, however, collect consumer data from third-party sources unless Consumers have given explicit permission.

  1. How We Use Your Information

6.1 Consumers

  1. To Provide and Enhance the Service: We use your personal information to tailor the user experience. For instance, your general location may be used to recommend localized offerings or highlight categories popular in your region.
  2. Communication: We may send you notifications or alerts regarding new product launches, changes to the Rezyt platform, or promotional announcements, subject to your notification preferences.
  3. User Support: We use your data to address any issues or concerns you raise, to improve our services, and to help you troubleshoot app functionality.
  4. Compliance and Safety: We may use your data to enforce our Terms & Conditions, protect our rights and safety, and comply with relevant laws.
  5. Personalization: Information such as your age or browsing preferences can help us curate a relevant feed of brand offerings and new product launches. We want to ensure that you see the categories and listings that matter most to you.

6.2 Brands

  1. Platform Verification: We use corporate documents, GSTIN, or other official details to verify the legitimacy of a Brand wishing to publish offerings on Rezyt.
  2. Showcasing Offerings: Once verified, Brands can upload product or service listings, including images and descriptive text, which we display to Consumers.
  3. Billing and Fees: We collect data regarding the fees that Brands pay to Rezyt for listing or promotional placements. We record and generate invoices for tax and accounting purposes.
  4. Priority Placement Algorithm: Brands can pay amounts exceeding the basic platform fee to seek a higher priority placement for their listings. We process and log this data so that our algorithmic ranking system can display offerings fairly based on the amounts contributed.
  5. Analytics and Performance: We analyze listing performance metrics—like clicks, views, or redirection rates—to present Brands with insights into how their products are performing on Rezyt.

  1. Legal Basis for Processing (if applicable)

Where required by certain jurisdictions (e.g., under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other international data protection laws), we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal data:

  1. Consent: Where you have explicitly agreed to the collection and use of your data in a specific manner (e.g., for marketing communications).
  2. Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as improving the Rezyt platform, verifying Brand authenticity, or preventing fraud.
  3. Legal Obligations: We may need to process certain data to comply with local laws (e.g., maintaining Brand records for tax compliance).
  4. Performance of a Contract: Certain data processing activities are essential to fulfill the Terms & Conditions under which we offer our service to Consumers or Brands.

  1. Sharing and Disclosure of Your Information

8.1 External Purchases and Redirection Consumers wishing to purchase a product or service on Rezyt are redirected to external platforms. Rezyt does not control data collection or privacy practices on these external platforms, and any personal or payment information provided to such external platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.

8.2 Service Providers We may engage certain third-party providers for tasks such as:

  1. Cloud Hosting: Data may be stored or processed using reputable cloud service providers.
  2. Analytics: We might share limited, anonymized usage data with analytics providers to better understand how users interact with the platform.
  3. Email or SMS Services: We may share your contact information with third-party providers who help us send out notifications or verification messages on our behalf.

These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

8.3 Legal Disclosures We may disclose personal data if we believe it is necessary to:

  1. Comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order).
  2. Protect and defend the rights or property of Rezyt.
  3. Prevent or investigate wrongdoing in connection with our platform.
  4. Ensure the personal safety of users or the public in emergency situations.

8.4 Business Transactions In the event that Rezyt undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of its assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any new entity must maintain the same or higher level of privacy protections described in this policy.

  1. Data Storage, Transfer, and Retention

9.1 Storage We store data in secure databases either in-house or through third-party data centers (cloud). All personal data is protected with reasonable security safeguards, including encryption at rest or in transit where feasible.

9.2 Retention We only retain personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For Consumers, data may be retained until account deletion (with allowances for a short grace period). For Brands, data is retained to comply with tax or other legal obligations (e.g., invoice record-keeping).

If you decide to delete your account, Rezyt will remove your personal data from the active environment within a reasonable timeframe. Certain minimal data may remain in backups or historical records for a period necessary to comply with financial, legal, or operational obligations.

  1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

While the Rezyt platform is primarily mobile app-based, we may deploy cookies, software development kits (SDKs), or other tracking technologies within the app environment. These tools help us:

  1. Measure and analyze app performance for continuous improvement.
  2. Customize your user experience by storing user preferences or session states.
  3. Enhance app security and detect anomalous behavior.

You can typically opt out of or limit the use of these tracking technologies by adjusting your device or in-app settings. However, certain functionalities may become limited if you choose to disable essential tracking features.

  1. User Rights and Choices

11.1 Account Deletion Consumers and Brands have the right to delete their Rezyt accounts at any time. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed or anonymized from our active environment, subject to retention requirements described earlier.

11.2 Editing Personal Data Consumers can update or correct personal details (name, age, gender, or location preferences) within the app settings. Brands can update business contact details, or listing descriptions, as needed. Some updates may require Admin approval for verification or compliance reasons.

11.3 Communication Preferences You can opt in or out of specific communications, such as marketing emails or push notifications. Within your account settings, you can adjust notification preferences or unsubscribe from certain communications at any point.

11.4 Right to Object or Restrict Processing Where applicable laws grant these rights, you may object to or request the restriction of processing of your personal data. We will assess such requests on a case-by-case basis and comply if we have no legitimate grounds to continue processing that data.

  1. Brand Responsibilities

12.1 Registration and Verification Brands must provide accurate, up-to-date information when registering on Rezyt. This includes official email IDs, valid corporate documents, and a legitimate GSTIN (where required by local tax laws). Failure to provide valid details may result in account suspension or termination.

12.2 Content Guidelines Brands are solely responsible for ensuring that any offerings, product images, text, or promotional materials posted on Rezyt adhere to Rezyt’s Content Policies. Offerings must be legitimate, not older than 90 days if they are labeled as “new,” and must not violate any third-party rights.

12.3 Platform Fees and Prioritized Placement Brands must pay any applicable platform fees upfront when selecting listing placements. If a Brand chooses to pay more than the minimum required amount, the Rezyt Algorithm automatically provides a higher priority placement in relevant product listings. No human override is permitted in this ranking process to maintain fairness and transparency.

12.4 Payment Processing While Rezyt does not collect consumer payment data, it may process Brand payments for listing fees or promotional placements. Brands acknowledge that additional transaction charges from payment partners (e.g., gateway fees) are borne by the Brands. Rezyt does not store sensitive payment information; it merely records successful or failed payments, dates, and amounts, alongside the associated listing.

12.5 Offerings Older Than 90 Days Rezyt reserves the right to block or remove any product offerings that are found to be more than 90 days old but are still advertised as new or exclusive. Brands must ensure that all listings remain current and accurate.

12.6 Analytics and Performance Metrics Brands will have access to analytics or performance metrics regarding how Consumers interact with their listings. This insight may include aggregated statistics like the number of views, clicks, or redirects to external purchasing platforms. Under no circumstances will Rezyt reveal Consumers’ personal identifiers to Brands.

12.7 Invoice and Tax Compliance For each payment or transaction, a tax invoice (reflecting the GSTIN if the Brand is subject to GST) will be generated. Brands are responsible for their own tax compliance and for maintaining records of these invoices.

  1. Security Measures

We have put in place various security measures designed to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data:

  1. Encryption: Where possible, we use standard encryption protocols for data in transit to prevent unauthorized access.
  2. Secure Access Controls: Access to our data storage environment is restricted to authorized personnel, and only on a need-to-know basis.
  3. Monitoring and Testing: We regularly monitor the Rezyt platform for security vulnerabilities and perform penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
  4. Incident Response: We maintain an internal incident response plan to deal with any suspected breach of personal data, which includes prompt notification of users if required by law.

While we follow industry-standard best practices, no platform can guarantee absolute security. Users are encouraged to maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials and immediately report any suspicious activity they observe.

  1. Admin Capabilities and Platform Governance

The Rezyt Admin team has broad oversight over the platform. This includes:

  1. Ability to Modify or Remove Content: Admins can remove or modify listings that violate Rezyt’s policies, are older than 90 days but advertised as new, or contain false or misleading information.
  2. Verification and Launch Dates: Admins can set or modify a Brand’s listed launch date, upload date, or expiration date to maintain the platform’s integrity.
  3. Analytical Reviews: Admins have access to platform-wide analytics to ensure compliance, detect fraudulent activities, and keep the platform operating effectively.
  4. Channel Verification: Admins confirm the Brand channel details and legitimacy, verifying any provided corporate documents or contact details. Non-compliant or fraudulent channels are subject to immediate suspension.

  1. Third-Party Links and Redirections

The primary function of Rezyt is to provide a curated environment for Consumers to discover new product or service offerings. If Consumers are interested in purchasing a particular product or learning more, they may click on a link or button that redirects them to an external e-commerce platform or brand site. Please note:

• External Privacy Policies: Once Consumers leave the Rezyt environment, the data collected on these external sites is governed by those sites’ privacy policies, and not by Rezyt’s. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit. • No Liability for External Platforms: Rezyt is not responsible for the data protection practices, content, or actions of any external platforms. We act solely as a conduit to enable discovery. • No Payment Processing on Rezyt: Rezyt does not handle Consumer payment details. All payment details, if any, must be provided directly to the external platform. Brand payments to Rezyt for listing or promotional fees are an exception, handled by trusted payment partners who comply with reasonable security standards.

  1. Children’s Privacy

Rezyt is not designed for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data without your consent, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the matter and take steps to remove any data we might have collected from or about the child.

  1. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at our discretion. If we make significant changes, we may notify you by email, prominent posting on the platform, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Rezyt after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We strongly recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed about how your data is collected, used, and shared.

  1. Dispute Resolution

  1. Should you have any complaints or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or Rezyt’s data handling practices, we encourage you to contact us first to seek resolution. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may pursue legal remedies under applicable national or international data protection laws. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
